Flags for Memorial Day 2012

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, was officially proclaimed in 1868 as a day of remembrance for those who have died while serving our country. It is an opportunity for Americans to come together and honor those who have heroically given their lives in service to the U.S.  The American flag adds pride and gratitude to those memories. Some people honor lost loved ones with small at graves and others place an American flag in a memorial day case engraved with the loved one’s name. Many choose to simply display an American flag and/or the military flag representing the loved one’s branch of service.
This year Memorial Day is Monday, May 28th. As you participate in the Memorial Day holiday, please join us in remembering and appreciating the brave patriots we honor. The founder of All The King’s Flags, Warren King, was a WWII veteran.  We honor and remember him, too.
